1. About Talent Drop

Talentdrop.Scot (“Talent Drop”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is a talent-promotion website for performers connected to Scotland. The website currently presents information about Talent Drop, displays consented featured-member material and lets prospective members submit a private application for human review.

2. Using the website

These terms govern use of the public website. Visitors must use the website lawfully and must not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, impersonate another person or submit fraudulent or deliberately misleading information.

3. Performer applications

Prospective members may submit their name, email address, primary discipline, Scotland connection and a short description of their work. Applications are stored privately for the Talent Drop team to review. Submitting an application does not create an account, guarantee acceptance, create a public profile or purchase a membership.

Applicants must provide information that is accurate to the best of their knowledge and must not submit unlawful material or information they do not have permission to provide.

4. Profiles and member material

Talent Drop does not automatically publish application information. Any public profile, biography, image, artwork, recording or other member material requires a separate review and appropriate permission before publication.

Members retain ownership of their original material unless rights have been transferred separately. The permission granted to Talent Drop for hosting, displaying and promoting accepted material is recorded when a profile is prepared.

5. Membership descriptions

The website describes Free, Plus and Pro membership concepts. The site does not currently take payment and does not offer an online purchase or recurring-subscription facility. Paid-plan prices, availability, included services, billing and cancellation terms will be confirmed before anyone is charged.

6. Accounts, uploads and payments

User registration, member login, direct file uploads, online payments and recurring memberships are not currently provided through the website. If any of those features are introduced, these terms and the privacy information will be updated before launch to match the implemented service and applicable consumer requirements.

7. Privacy and personal information

Talent Drop processes performer applications and booking enquiries privately. The local release-candidate privacy notice explains the proposed operator details, information and purposes, lawful bases, service providers, retention, security, individual data rights and complaint route. That notice remains confirmation-gated and must not be deployed until the legal operator, public contact and operating responsibilities are verified.

8. Website intellectual property

The Talent Drop name, branding, website design and original website content may be protected by intellectual-property rights. Visitors must not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell or commercially exploit protected website or member material without permission or another lawful basis.

9. Reporting rights or content concerns

Questions or reports about content displayed on Talentdrop.Scot may be raised through the contact route, providing enough information to identify the material and explain the concern. Talent Drop may restrict or remove disputed material while it is reviewed.

10. Availability and third-party services

We aim to keep the website available, but uninterrupted or error-free access cannot be guaranteed. Maintenance, security work, technical problems and circumstances outside reasonable control may affect availability. Independent third-party websites and services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

11. Liability and statutory rights

Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or restrict liability or rights where doing so would be unlawful. Nothing in these terms affects statutory consumer rights.

12. Changes

These terms may be updated as the website and its services change. The current version and its effective or last-updated date will be published on this page, with appropriate notice of significant changes where required.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, subject to mandatory rights concerning where consumers may bring proceedings.
